One such organization that pushes for the total ban of asbestos is a group of scientists based in Modena, Italy and affiliated with the Collegium Ramazzini. According to the Collegium as published in the International Journal of Environment and Health, only 52 countries have banned the utilization of asbestos; a truly far number from the total countries all over the world.
